Get Your Sweet Romances Here, Astraea Press

- by Vonna Harper

Stephanie Griffin:
Owner & Editor
in Chief

aka Stephanie Taylor

After spending over six years working with authors and gaining editing experience from five different e-publishers, Stephanie decided to open her own business after seeing a gap in the e-publishing industry for non-erotic, sweeter publishers. While she doesn’t envision Astraea Press as a solely inspirational publisher, she wants it to be the go-to place for adults and young adults who enjoy cleaner content. Genres that Stephanie is looking to acquire falls anywhere from inspirational to mainstream. See the submissions page for full details. Stephanie is also the author of three books under her pen name, Stephanie Taylor.

Astraea was formed in 2010 when Stephanie Taylor saw the need for a non-erotic e-publisher that offers wholesome reads but still maintains the quality of mainstream romance. The first titles for Astraea were launched in February 2011.

With over six years experience in the publishing industry and an avid reader, owner Stephanie looks forward to working with her authors, having fun, and bringing you the best books available.

“I might be a little biased, but Astraea is an amazing company.  I’m not saying that because I’m the owner or because I have an amazing group of editors and staff, but it’s because I have the most AMAZING AUTHORS!  I wanted Astraea to be the kind of place I’d want to be published by if I were an author.  That doesn’t mean we’re perfect, but we’re the best.

Astraea is also looking for Christmas/Holiday stories. As in, we have none.  So take a look at the submission guidelines and your old writing folder and see if you can come up with something.  We do require the manuscript be at least 15,000 words.  But your odds of being accepted are really high!  ;o)

Astraea is taking the industry by storm and our sales prove it.  Many cautioned me that it would take several years for us to get going, but it’s so awesome for me to say that we’re doing so well, I just recently hired fourteen new editors! I owe all of this to my wonderful authors.  Without them, I wouldn’t have a business!

Come check us out and if you have any questions, leave a comment here or email me directly at  I’d love to hear from you!”
