Hello,
I've written a novel in which I used actual establishment names, however changed the name of its owner, who is a featured character throughout. The depiction of him is highly honorable. He died in 1994 and has living children, if his actual club name was used even though I fictionalized his name, can the family sue me?
I would like to have an attorney answer this question. If a fee is required or more in depth information is necessary, can we please discuss via email.
Respectfully,
Michelle
