Maybe we should form a new writers’ organization: Ostriches, Inc.

Nah. Novelists, Inc. allows us ostriches to be members, as long as we meet the qualifications.

You nailed it, BK! About the only industry publication I read with any enthusiasm is Nink! The rest are just too depressing and no writer needs that nasty chain across her shoulders, dragging her down.

I feel the same way. I’ve closed my eyes and ears and just keep on writing. Things have to get better sooner or later, and when they do I’ll have a couple of finished manuscripts!

It’s funny, I’ve had the same problem with industry mags as of late. I have a stack dating back months that I just can’t bring myself to read.
