Hey Charlotte!

Can't wait to read your version of the Indian Relay Races. They are always the wildly exciting highlight of the WYO Rodeo in Sheridan Wyoming.

Truth be told, I'd probably fall off the dang diner stool if a guy like Michael propositioned me (actually, he does that in her car, but never mind!), even though in my MIND I'd like to be free spirit enough to go with that fine, feisty flow!

Tell you what: I got a CASE of these cowboy anthos from my generous editor, so I'll contact all three of you about collecting your prizes! Yup--you all WIN a copy! Hope you enjoy these stories!

My first reaction would be #2 and then if the coast is clear I'll proceed with #4. I imagine I would be a little flustered if this scenario happened to me.

Leah and Phoebe! What an honor to have two authors, hot writers in their own right, comment on my cowboy story! Thanks a bunch for coming by!

And just for the record, Phoebe, when I was first starting out, back in my Zebra Heartfire days of wild Westerns, it was YOUR books I read because I loved the way your characters and stories refused to slow down and get dull! Thanks for being my inspiration!

Hi Charotte,
Thanks for showing us how deeply you research and plot your stories. LONG HARD RIDE could easily have become a dynamite contemporary book! Leave out the liver transplant, and the widow and Native American would make for a great historical. I always look forward to your books.

To answer the first question - in real life I'd probably stare blankly and then answer with the first THREE answers. (Brevity is not my name) In my fantasies however - door number four.

I love hearing how all the pieces came together - and you're right, I lurve me a good cowboy story.
