And it&#039;s worth noting that according to a national poll a few years ago, there are more people in American who want to WRITE a book than there are people who READ books.

If you&#039;re not a reader, I think you can probably nonetheless write a (totally unreadable) book and self-publish it.

But if you&#039;re not a reader, there&#039;s no way you can write a commercially saleable book. That&#039;s like expecting to play major league baseball without knowing anything at all about the sport.
