Her announcement focuses mostly on family members who are providing services to support authors, but NINC welcomes any member of an author support team to join us–family or not.

It used to be that family members supported an author by honoring the closed office door, and offering meals (and quiet!) during marathon deadline sessions.
Things have changed.
Nowadays family support often takes the form of bookkeeping, marketing, social media coordination, analysis of sales and marketing data, and overall project management. This is true of both traditional and indie authors. This new breed of industry professional may need as much the business information as the authors they support.
To answer this need, he NINC 2013 Conference is opening its doors, for the first time, to these Support Team Members. What is effective social media, good cover design, engaging back cover copy, top notch marketing strategies? These questions and more can be discussed with industry guests and intrepid assistants already on the job who will lead workshop and panels on how to build and/ or make your Support Team work more effective.
